Welcome to Oceania
I think Winstons biggest conflict so far is that he started to write on a diary and thats illegal were hes at because you can't write your thoughts out. One day he opened his door, he was scared because he thought it was Thought Police and he thought that they were there to arrest him. I think thats his biggest conflict so far because he seems likes hes paranoid about writting his criminal thoughts on the journal, because he knows hes not suppose to. Oceania seems to be a place that everybody follows one person almost like they have one ruler. Winston has a telescreen and its always on. The Thought Police uses the telescreen to monitor what all the people living in oceania are doing. Makes them have no freedom they are always being controlled by the Thought Police. Something that is always said in the book is "BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING YOU" and that is true because everybody is always being watched.
